Our purpose
Language should open doors, not close them
Lincua is a woman- and minority-owned small business founded in 2020. We bridge language gaps through interpretation, translation, training, consulting, and teaching, pairing linguistic accuracy with cultural understanding.
Professional & Community Engagement
Lincua Academy stays connected to Nebraska’s language-services profession through active industry involvement. Founder and CEO Yuridia Igbokwe serves as a 2024–2026 Director of the Nebraska Association for Translators & Interpreters (NATI). Lincua Academy also supported NATI as a Gold Level Sponsor in 2024 and a Platinum Level Sponsor in 2025.
Yuridia also serves on the Latino Economic Development Council’s Steering Committee, where she is identified as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lincua Academy. In 2023, she provided public testimony before the Nebraska Legislature on issues affecting interpreters.
Lincua’s community involvement also extends to public conversations about language access. In 2025, WOWT spoke with Yuridia as part of its Omaha coverage of language access and multilingual communities.
